A submersible pump is an airtight, hermetically sealed mechanical unit designed to operate while completely submerged under water or other fluids.
Unlike surface pumps that pull water upward via suction, a submersible pump uses direct mechanical pressure to push fluid upward toward the surface. Because the motor and impellers operate fully under fluid, these pumps are self-priming, highly energy-efficient, quiet, and immune to cavitation (damage caused by air bubbles).
