A submersible pump is an airtight, hermetically sealed mechanical unit designed to operate while completely submerged under water or other fluids.
Unlike traditional surface pumps that draw water upward via atmospheric suction, a submersible pump uses direct mechanical pressure to push fluid upward toward the surface. Because the motor and impellers operate fully under fluid, these pumps are self-priming, highly energy-efficient, quiet, and immune to cavitation (damage caused by air bubbles).
