Why is motor cooling critical, and what fluid is used inside the motor?
A: Most V6 submersible motors are water-filled (using clean, soft water with anti-corrosive agents) or oil-filled. Water/oil acts as a lubricant for the thrust bearings and dissipates heat generated by the windings. Never run a submersible pump dry.
